hello, something strange happened to day where the decimal places on my schedule didnt match the decimal places on another persons computer for the same parameter. The parameter is a calculated value and it is a "Common" -> "Number" type parameter. I dont want any decimal places, and on my computer it looks fine, but on my co-workers there is decimals. I cant find anywhere in project units that drives the decimal places of "Common" -> "Number" type parameters. So I had to go to Field Formatt...  Fixed --> 0 decimal places just to get it to show up correctly on his computer. Where on mine it looked fine as checked under "Use default settings". So I guess, the obvious question is where the heck is default settings for common-numbers and why does it vary from computer to computer working on the same model? Thanks

I understand that the decimal places are different on 2 PC's for the same Parameter. I'm not sure how this would happen assuming one Parameter is driving the data in schedule and that both PC's were looking at the same schedule at the same time. I would start by checking to insure you are looking at the same schedule and its using the same Parameter. If that fails what happens it you look at the same schedule on a third, or possible fourth PC? Does the number of decimal place differ again? Below is a screenshot for where you would alter decimal places. Please review both PC for the appropriate setting and verify that all match.

Hope this helps and thanks for poting.
