Cooling load calculation method used in revit

Hi

Just want to clarify with anyone here about:

1. whether the monthly cooling load graph produced by the energy analysis is done using the Radiant Time Series calculation method?

2. Can the monthly cooling load be refined into an hourly one? (Tried changing report type to "detailed", didn't help)

Thank you!

Revit uses RTS method for  Load Calculation.

Unfortunately changing the report type doesn't affect the calculation, it just controls the quantity of information that is shown in the report.

So the results are reliable you say. How did you check the results? By hand
calculations? or some other method?

I did not say that the results are reliable. I only said that I did use it.

How can you use it for an actual project if you don't know if they are reliable? Isn't that a big risk?

I only used it for school simulation project, not actual projects
