Connecting one end disconnects the other

I've never seen this issue before. I have a piece of steel pipe connecting to 45's at both ends. However, one side is disconnected & when I drag it node to node I get this error.

The pipe is not sloped & everything is lined up.

Delete the pipe and use auto-routing to connect the (2) 45s. It's almost certainly an alignment issue from what I have experienced. Auto routing will at least tell you what Revit is thinking

Fixed it shortly after posting this. Turns out it was in fact a very small alignment issue.
