Connect Data Outlet to "Data Panel"

Hi, 

IN rev 24, I'm trying to connect data outlets to a "Data Panel" and it seems there are no families within revit that allows me to do it. 

I tried to use the electrical panels and change their connector type to "Data System" but I still can't connect any data outlet and designate it to a "Data Panel"

• set your Panel > Part Type to Other
  • make sure your connector is set to Data. 
• make sure your devices, or what ever your connecting to it has Electrical Connectors set to Data

I tried to do this when reading the Autodesk Help Docs. I don’t know where to change the panel to “other”. Is that the instance properties, type properties?

You have to edit the family. 

Once you are in the family editor, select "Family category and Parameters".  It's the ribbon button on the upper left with the yellow folder icon on it.
