Coefficient Question.

I have a quick question,

What does the coefficient do (if anything) with in a family,

I have numbers in families now but they were already there and don't match what is on the papers,

I have been following with edits, so the question is,

Should this be changed just for information sake, or with it being changed would it cause some harm somewhere in the family.

an example is lets say a

2" Check Valve with the coefficient of .35 the paper says for it to be 95.

If someone could help me with this, as with the numbers alone have me confused with .35 to a 95.

Thanks to anyone who can give me some input.

Okay so digging more with this I see that,

K Coefficient (K Factor) is only editable if Loss Method is specified as “K Coefficient” but even so,

I don't know what to do still or if it has any effect at all.

Okay, so, in Revit now is the K Coefficient,

what I have is the CV Coefficient.

I would think I have to find some converter for CV to K,

So if anyone has any suggestion on that.

Okay, thoroughly confused.

If I take CV to K

0.340000 K

inside dia of 2"

it's 204.694 CV

but

If I take K from CV

260 CV

inside dia of 2"

it should be .210737 K

I think I am thinking to much into this but if someone could please help me out.

Would the top be wrong for the start and should I just change it to the bottom, which I right to my knowledge.

Also let me mention that the top is what is there now, (in one of the family's for one of the sizes), the bottom is what the CV should be but I have to convert it to K.
