Changing Pipe slope in Revit on large job

I received a Design Model (Revit 2017) for a large job with zero slope in Waste and Roof Drains. Is there an easier way to change slope other than selecting each pipe. I am currently redrawing the pipe. I would really appreciate any help or information on this issue.

Thank You

Hello @Anonymous

Thank you for your post and welcome to the community!

You got a model with zero slope for waste and roof drains, that can be frustrating to say the least.  As noted in your description, currently you are manually redrawing these lines accurately with slope and would like to know if there is a more efficient method for doing this.

I did some testing and this is what I was able to come up with.  As long as the content is drawn using out-of-the-box Revit components (not Fabrication components) then you should be able to do the following, I have included some screen shots for your review.

I created a sample pipe segment to help reflect your workflow.  I assume you are at this stage with pipe being modeled but does not have a slope.  With the non-sloped pipe selected all one has to do is select the Slope button above Edit, choose a slope value to change it to, select Finish and presto!

Hopefully this breakdown will get you going again.

Hello @Anonymous

I hope you are doing well and making lots of progress on your project.

I wanted to check in and see if you had a chance to review the suggestion from my last forum post, or if you have any additional questions for me?
