I need to replace instances of families which are already powered (part of electrical systems) with instances of a new family. When I change from the original family to the new though, the element is removed from the circuit. Yes, voltage and number of poles match. I can even place instances of the new family beside the existing family instances and add them to the circuit without issue. I've tried to reproduce the issue by swapping in a family I found online and a new family created from scratch with only a connector made using the face-based template, but didn't have any luck.
Many thanks to anyone who's able to solve the issue. Family is attached.

Hello,

AFAIK this is the normal behaviour from Revit, unfortunatelly.

Hopefully the normal behaviour can be fixed in future versions! Still not there in Revit 2024.
