Changing All Linked Files In A Model To Grey Colour

I have a model with 49 linked models. How do I change all the linked models to grey colour so the only working model is not in grey colour? Need this to produce in sheet drawing so that only my service is not in grey halftone. Have tried overide in visibility setting in the colour scheme setting for each of the linked file but still some of the services in this linked model remain in colour. No filter is set except my own model service is set in colour.

Several ways:

- map all links to an existing phase.

- set all link to halftone in view templates

Hi @chongji.koh, I believe linking in all models to an existing phase (as @ToanDN mentioned) would be the fastest way to achieve what you are looking for. However, if you want to keep the phasing of the linked models as is, you could also go into each linked model and override the line style overrides of each model category to be a grey color. I do think this process would be rather cumbersome, but it would return the output you are trying to achieve.

If there is a clear delineation between the model elements in your working model and the linked models (e.g. MEP or Electrical vs Architectural), then perhaps a filter could be applied to all linked model elements as long as the Linked Model setting for Filtering is set to "By Host View". Object Styles for the project would be another option but again would depend on delineation of work between your working model and the linked models.

I would definitely try what @ToanDN suggests with the Phasing.

that said, since you mentioned trying overrides. there is a hierarchy to overrides. Phasing Graphics Overrides is number 7 in this list. I forget where I got this originally, but I have it pined on my wall as a reminder :-).

Hi @vel.kannaiyanY8U32, according to the link below, Grey Inactive Worksets only affects the viewable content in views, and does not affect the view when printed on a sheet.
