Change title block scale manually

Is it possible to configure Revit to allow manual changing of the scale parameter on a title block?

I've tried creating a shared parameter that is just text and it's not working.

Accepted solution

It is possible using shared parameters.

You can place a label in the title block family, associate the label with your parameter.

Load the same shared parameter into the project/template and associate it with Sheets

You can have different labels placed on top of each other in your titleblock and control their visibility with yes/no parameters for example you could have:-

  • automatic scale
  • user typed scale
  • NOT TO SCALE
  • etc.

You can simply use one of the unused sheet parameters for it.
