Change how pipes display in wireframe

I want to change how the pipes display in wireframe so that they appear like they do when in  consistent colors mode, and the rest of 3d geometry is shown as wireframe. I have this screenshot that shows this fitting, it is shown as fill and i want the pipe (brown) to show filled like that also (not see through).

How would i go about achieving this?

How are the fittings getting the color applied?

Rob

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

But those fitting are shown in full color, so it should be possible .

Hello @Andrej.Licanin ,

Looks like you have applied some filter for pipes but (maybe) forgot to add pipe fitting to filter categories.

If you want pipe to look like solid, remove filter. I guess this will work.

Let me know if this works.

Have you checked the filters applied to the view?

What visibility settings have you checked so far?

Can you share a portion of the model that displays as you show?

ON V+V Ii checked pipes (model) but the pattern category cant be modified, under object-styles, there is nothing for patterns,  tried right-clicking on pipe and override graphis but there are only options for line and transparency.

There is no part of the model that displays like that, i need to use wireframe to see anything at all. Here is a bigger example

I don't understand why the fittings have filled color and the rest of the pipes do not

Dear @Andrej.Licanin ,

Do check filter too in Visibility/ Graphics Overrides.

If you aren't going to share a model, you need to determine how the color is being applied to the fittings so that you can use the same method for the pipes. Screen shots of your model tell us nothing more than what has already been said. Screen shots of you V/G Override settings might help but the model would be much more useful.

Dear NimeshJ . I did there are no filters applied. Can I achieve this by applying a filter?

Message 12 of 18

OK i figured it out, what I needed to do was to make a new filter -> apply it to a specific system -> change the pattern of that filter.

Dear @Andrej.Licanin ,

Ok good 🙂

But you didn't figure out how the fittings are getting the color applied. Now when you remove the filter you will be back to where you started. You only put a bandaid on the issue. If that's ok with you, go with it. In my book you still have not solved the mystery of the fittings.

Simply keep the view as consistent or shaded and VG set all other categories to 100% transparent.  Colors can be set under Object Styles > Material.

I now have an issue with FabricationCADMep.
I'm not seeing the piping in 2D wire Frame? I've tried the suggestion,
change VSOCCLUDEDLTYPE from 1 to 11.
It did not correct the view. Might you have any other suggestions?
Thanks

Are you talking about Fabrication parts within Revit or are you talking about in the Fabrication CADmep software?

Fabrication CADmep software, but I found the issue, In the layer dialog there were some locked that were not showing. But all is good now.

Thank you.
