Change color of linked objects in Revit

I want to customize my floor plan view by changing the colors of different objects. For instance I want to change the fill color of all walls to black. When I try to change this in the view template, nothing happens. Filter doesn't work either. Am I missing something?

If the link is set to By Host View it should adopt those settings but what is your view discipline? MEP disciplines won't show shading etc in architectural elements.

Hi, thank's for answering.

Yes, setting for all links is "by host view" and discipline for the view is "mechanical". Anything else that might cause this problem?

Thank's! File is attached. You won't be able to see the linkes though, so I don't know if it makes any sense?

Mechanical is an MEP view discipline per my earlier question.

Change it to Coordination.
