Cannot select the walls

Hi guys,

I am kinda stuck now. I created a project using the mechanical template. I layout the wall of the plan but when I tried to select it, I cant select it. Please anyone help me.

Hello Anthony,

On what I understand in your issue is that, you created walls for the layout but when you select the walls, it does not allows you. The reason for that is you have selected the Mechanical template, this template highlights only mechanical stuffs that is why you will notice when you create the walls, it is grayed out or halftone color, right? Now if you really want to select the walls, I've got two options. One is check the "Select underlay elements" from the Select expanded panel.

The walls are considered underlay in the project that is why it is halftone/grayed out.

Another option is, from the Properties, change the Discipline from Mechanical to Architectural. You will notice the walls will becomes black not gray anymore and you will be able to select it.
