I can't using Aligned Dimension tools to measure equipments that coming from a Revit links.

Hello, I would like some help about Revit program. Please find the video in the attached file, I want to measure the distance from the wall to the center's pipe but the program won't let me measure it. And meanwhile I couldn't measure any distance from the revit links at all. I tried to find a solution to this problem but still can't solve it so I would like some help from someone knowledgeable in this forum why I can't do it and what is the problem about that. Thank you in avance.

They are not parallel? Place dimension from centerline of pipe first then use tab to pick an end or intersection point of wall. Or vice versa, place dimension from wall first then use tab to pick an end point on the centerline of pipe.

You can draw reference planes on the objects you want to dimension, then dimension to said reference planes.
