Can't Install Revit 2024

The PC I use is the canary for our company; it gets the first version of everything. Back in 2023, I tried to install Revit 2024 and it failed ... kindof. Windows thought it was installed, Autodesk Access think's it's installed. However, it doesn't run. I had tried a bunch of things back then to get it to install, but none of it worked. Now that I actually need Revit 2024, I'm stuck. Reinstalling Windows is also not really an option because this computer has about 60 different managed packages on it, so it's easily a week to re-install everything.

Uninstalling it stops it from showing up in Windows' installed apps, but AutoDesk Access still thinks it's installed and needs an update (currently 2024.2 is what it wants to install; trying to install it fails).

If I reinstall it, it shows up in Windows as an app, but the installation is only ~7.5GB vs the ~12-17GB of all other versions of Revit. And, again, it doesn't install properly.

I used Microsoft's uninstallation tool to remove anything I could find that is associated with Revit 2024, but that didn't work. I've also tried uninstalling every CLSID I have for Revit, but that didn't work either.

So, the only version of Revit I could get to install was 2024 original. Then trying to install updates, the software kept saying it couldn't find the RVT.msi file, so I downloaded probably 15 versions of Revit 2024 (deployment, updates, full version, web installer) and all of them had the same error, that they can't find RVT.msi, and pointing them to all different versions of RVT.msi said it's not valid. They all SAID they failed but the software successfully updated to 2024.2.0.63 at some point, so I suppose this is resolved. Still can't install 24.2.20.41, but I doubt it fixes anything anyway.

False alarm: Windows claims I have 2024.2.0.63 (two copies, in fact), but actual Revit version is 2024.0 . Autodesk Access can't update it to 2024.2 or now 2024.3; it always says I need the RVT.msi file and no version of Revit has a file it will accept as valid (aka: deployment 2024.2 will not accept 2024.0, 2024.1, or 2024.2 versions of the RVT.msi file from the web install, "full" installer, or deployment). I've tried all combinations.

I really don't want to spend an hour uninstalling and re-installing Revit again but will if I have to.
