Can i have Plumbing pipe in nested families

Hi,

I have a repeated Bathroom core with slight variation in the location of the Plumbing fixtures within that core.

I created a nested family that allows me to move the plumbing fixtures around as needed to fit the architecture's placement of these fixtures.

My question is, can i have these connected with to each other and to a main external connector visible to the hosting revit project?  This way even if i move a fixture, it stays connected to its necessary pipes, and i do not have to redo the connectivity of each fixture all over again?

Piping are system families and can thus not be loaded inside a loadable family. Also connectors inside a family only work in the host family and will not be visible when inside a nested family.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

That's a shame... i was hoping that Revit has matured enough to do be able to see within a family.

i guess,. i have to use an Assembly for now and adjust Fixtures according to the room they're in.

Thanks a lot for your response...

Regards,

Fawzi
