Hi guys,

I have a question, there is a possibility to show the dashed lines from the details area in Revit, the first picture, to the printed file as well in the pdf file, the second picture? See the attached file.

so your saying it looks fine on your screen (in Revit), but when you print it, it prints solid?

  • Is it solid in the PDF prior to printing?
  • If it looks correct on the screen, it should print that way.

Can you share your file for us to look at?

Hi, I managed to make those lines

visible in the printed file like this: I unchecked the box marked in yellow, see the first picture from the attachment.

Now I have another question, how can I make the solid line around the detail to be a dotted line in Revit?

Thank you for your support.

- You can override graphics:
1 - Enable the crop view;
2 - Select the cropview;
3 - Overhide graphicis in view;

4 - change ther pattern.

- Or you can draw with an detail line with the same configuration.

Sorry, got busy for a little bit.... so you want to change the Crop Region from sold to dashed... Do what @mauricio_mssf shows, that is the only way I know to do it.
