Button/Keyboard shortcut to place a valve

When placing a pipe valve, the operation is not convenient:

1. Click on the "Project Browser \ families \ Pipe Accessories"
2. Find the valve
3. Expand it and find the correct size
4. Drag it to the view
5. Click on the pipe to create the valve.

So this process isn't convenient at all.

Is it able to create a button in the menu ( say, using pyRevit, or C#) , to just click one button, and then be able to click on pipe and create it? We want to skip all step 1-5, by clicking just one button.

Thanks.

If not a button, a keyboard shortcut is OK.
