BIM Interoperability Tools - CRASH

Has anyone else had to work with this nightmare of an add-in called BIM Interoperability Tools for attaching Uniformat, Omniclass, COBie data to elements? Every time I select an element to assign data to it, it crashes Revit every single time! Is this thing actually supposed to work or just crash? I was sent the instructions by the "project consultants" today about downloading this add-in and instructions on how to use it to populate the data for the elements. Every time I follow the step-by-step instructions, it crashes Revit...14 times so far today!

Hi @ben,

If you haven't already, I might suggest that you reach out to the folks at BIM Interoperability Tools for support. Here is their email address: support@biminteroperabilitytools.com

Please feel free to update your post with the findings.

I'd also be happy to take a look at the journal file that captures the crash if you're willing to post it.

Please mark any posts that help with "Accept as Solution" and thanks.

Thank you for the contact information. I thought since it was an Autodesk add-in for Revit that this would be the place to ask. Thank you for the information, I'll let you know what I find out.

Nope, it's been over a month since I've gotten a response from them. The app is terrible!
