Assigning Uniformat Assembly Description / Assembly Code to project elements

Hello everyone!

I'm looking for a way to assign Uniformat Assembly Codes for all of my MEP elements in a huge project. My elements already has an Assembly Code, but they all have "No classification" category, and no Assembly Description, which means, they are getting a random code, instead of the Standard uniformat codes (like D2010 for Plumbing Fixtures)

How can i teach Revit to use the Assembly Description and Code, what corresponds with my Family Categories?

I'm using Revit MEP 2016

The excel out / in tools would aid you to push out the data and within excel populate the missing information and push this back into your file or library.

Also have a look at this tool, does this help with what you are trying to achieve?

Autodesk Classification Manager for Revit
