have you tried assigning colors as graphic overrides in a Pipe System?

In the project browser browse to Pipe Systems/ Pipe System/ Domestic Cold Water- select Type Properties and go into the Edit button for Graphic Overrides here you can assign any color, Line weight, and Line Pattern  for any system

see attached images.

I hope this helps

Hello,

You can assign materials in the segment setting.

Hello,

The solutions above are based on the Pipe or Duct System Type. Assigning Graphic Overrides will have effect in all your views if have not used Graphic Overrides with filters in your views.

In your view you can set filters based on the System Type or even System name if you like.

It is an old method I used before you had the Graphic Overrides in a Pipe and Duct Systems.

I use this method to get the black outlines in my 3D views.

See example below

color in Pipes.png

  1. Go to your 3D view and click Visibility/Graphic Overrides
  2. Go to the Filter Tab
  3. Click Edit/New and create a new filter
  4. Add that filter to your View filter and change the Overrides…
