Apply demand factor to motor wire sizing?

I’m doing an industrial project which has many large motors. Since Revit seems to size wire based on the rating of the disconnect device, is there a recommended method for sizing to wire based on the load and it’s demand factor?

My only other idea is to create a new wire type with the ampacity tables already calculated to include the demand factor.  But that workaround just seems wrong.

Does anybody have any other recommendations for handling this?

Thanks!

Unfortunately, I have not found any intuitve way to make Revit do this natively. I can recommend the following add-in if that is an option:

https://apps.autodesk.com/RVT/en/Detail/Index?id=8936112332958579444&appLang=en&os=Win64

It handles a lot of the basic functionality that you would expect Revit to, but just does not, including branch circuit sizing based upon connected load. You can even specify MCA and MOCP on a piece of equipment, and the breaker and wire will be size auto-magically when the circuit is connected.
