I used to use BIMLINK on a daily basis at my last firm, but since going self employed I can't yet justify the high cost of the BIMLINK license.
I used DiRooots for most of the BIMLINK tasks, but it's lacking the "Export Types" schedule push pull feature.
I'm looking to organise the families in use on a project based on their parameter values eg:
Pipe accessories, export all family names and types, type mark, pipe diameters and manufacturer, then concatenate that data back to the family name and type.
BIMLINK does this really well, but I've tried DiRoots sheet link, the family and type are ready only. And family reviser doesn't allow for adding of family parameters to the export.
Is there any good alternatives to these tools that are either free or low cost license fee?
Otherwise I'll have to try my hand at making something in dynamo.
