Add insulation to equipment

I know how to add insulation to pipes and ducts. i also have schedules and tags indicating type and thickness of insulation (i.e. 2" rigid fiber  or 1"poly-iso etc.)

Is there a similar way to add insulation to equipment, like tanks, pumps etc.? I assume I could manipulate the family, but that would be tedious and would make it hard to schedule what type and thickness of insulation the insulator needs to order.

Ideally I then could add a tag to a storage tank that shows insulation type and thickness and also have a schedule showing area and type of insulation (that makes it unlikely including insulation int he equipment family to be useful).

Revit version: R2025.2
