About Break-into Components - segments do no heal when removed in Revit 2021

If you delete e.g. a flow damper, or similar, in Revit 2021 the duct segment does not heal any more .
Is this a bug or a new feature? 

At least according to the user guides it should heal the segment. From help text: " When the size of a break-into component matches the duct size where it is placed (no transitions), the break-into behaviour restores (heals) the duct segment if the component is removed".

If this is a bug does anyone know if there is fix planed for it? Seems really urgent to me at least.

Seems after all as this was made intentionally, actually an improvement.
