Worksharing Monitor (or equivalent) for server based projects

A challenge we have faced in working on larger projects has been a server based project that is being accessed at  the same time by multiple team members. When multiple save/sync operations are initiated by tea members, possibly at the same time, the project file gets corrupted. This causes a significant loss in time and efficiency.

Being able to see who is on the model, and more importantly, who is saving / syncing - would be helpful. Save/Sync operations could be staggered, hopefully, reducing the likelihood of files getting corrupted. Just a thought......

What do you mean with server based projects?

We have all our porjects on a sever and every project is a central model.

That worksharing monitor is working great and if we are six people in the same projekt everyone can see who is syncing and saving.

Every day we open the our project with a new local file. We don't use the local file that was created the day befor. This reduces the chance of corrupting a file.

He means projects based on Revit Server, and I agree that we need a method of monitoring central files same as if the project were on a local drive.
