Why not use filters as filters

I think it would be great if you use the filters that you have just set up rules for as selection filters as well.

how about the ability to group filters together? That way you could create a new view and be able to grab all the filters you need at one time.

@Clntnco that would be like using view templates to copy a selection of filters from one view to another. What I meant is it would be a good idea to allow for selecting all walls that are already covered by a rule filter. Say you have a filter for fire resistance in place which paints all these EIC90 walls red. Now you need to change those same walls to EIC120. How do you do that?

I wish that the developers would look at all the similar posts to this one in giving it consideration... I just searched on this topic and came up with 92 hits and 75% of those are the same conceptual idea.

 

They have all the pieces, all they need to do is expand on them and think outside their original box:
