Railing hosted to a Topography (non-flat) surface.

Railing hosted to a Topography (non-flat) surface.

Would very much like to see railing objects & walls able to host directly to a topography. And the ability to extrude a sketch shape directly off the topography surface with thickness. Not talking about the building pad either which only have value if the site is flat, which seldom happens.

It will be a great idea if Revit could model walls that follow toposurfaces. If possible, create a new tools called "fence" (some kind of railing) that follow the toposurface will also be great.

And floors would be nice too! So we can design the sidewalks along with the project...

Thanks for adding your idea! I'm marking this issue as implemented as starting in Revit 2018 it is possible to host railings on topography. I recommend filing a separate idea for attaching walls to topography.
