Wall tag family: top and bottom elevations

Wall tag family: top and bottom elevations

I really need wall tag family can expose 02 parameters: top and bottom elevations. For now, I have to do 02 actions:

1. Use wall tag to take out Mark of wall.

2. Use Spot elevation to take out top and bottom elevation of wall. I have to use this, not use shared parameters, because value of elevations can update automatically by updating wall.

But the consequence is aligning of text can be a mess if wall length is changed or other reasons.

Currently is possible to assign "Base Offset" and "Unconnected Height" parameters to wall tags (and schedule), but refering the elevations to Survey and Project Base Point would be very useful.

I think Autodesk should create a wall system parameter called: Base level elevation (base level elevation to survey point) for this case and we can customized this tag on family (Bottom elevation = Base level elevation + Base offset; Top elevation = Base level elevation + unconnected height)

Thank you @samuelsanf for making my idea clearer. 🙂

So, there are 04 parameters we need:

1. Top elevation base on Survey Base Point.

2. Bottom elevation base on Survey Base Point.

3. Top elevation base on Project Base Point.

4. Bottom elevation base on Project Base Point.
