Would be nice if a shaft or void could cut through stairs and landings or if you could edit the profile of a landing and draw some inner boundary lines to create a hole.
Example is a landing which needs an opening around an existing column.
It is not possible to cut through a system stair landing, even with voids. This is a common requirement & would be good to have this feature in Revit. There are multiple suggested workarounds in the forum post below, but these methods are very time-consuming & working with line weights is not a very convenient option.
If for what ever reason this should be allowed in the run too. Would make easier modeling where you have a central column on a circular staircase cutting the treads.
