Visability Settings For Linked Models

Working on projects with 20 different linked consultant models it would be helpful to be able to globally manage the display settings across all or selected models with one step instead of having to go into each model individually under the links section to turn off the offending content.  For example turning off grid lines from all linked models with one uncheck would save lots of time and printing headaches.

the example you talk about can be solved by using filters to hide or show any think
filters in view template can effect the objects in links

Thanks - Do filters differentiate between native model and linked models - and do they allow filtering of linked annotation categories?

no , if you make filter in your file and its rule match elements in the linked file it will affect them also
but you can prevent that by using by linked view option in Rivet links tab

@Anonymous I think having to set linked view for 20+ models (and then again for each level) would negate the OP's intent of trying to save the time of just turning off anno for each link (which would only have to be done 20+ times for each View Template, not each View/Level).

@Anonymous While it would be nice to just filter by Link Name (like you can with Schedules), we're currently limited to finding & using a difference between local and link (often in Type Names, as Hazem shows above, or if you have your company name in them, etc.).

@lionel.kai , what about adjusting special view template to adjust only the linked models , this may save some time

would you mind also to speak a little about links system @your place and how do you split your models?
