In this thread I describe how I use 2 electrical connectors as a workaround.
the problem is that an electrical connector uses Apparent load (VA) and that is fine for circuit design. but for Lighting power density in spaces, we use Real Power (W). Revit for some reason doesn't differentiate (or take the power factor into account). If we assume a power factor of 0.9, the apparent power will be 11% higher than real power. Without my workaround I basically have to choose if my circuit design is 11% wrong, or if my lighting power density is 11% wrong.
A solution would be to have the spaces account for the power factor to calculate the real power.
