Update of Dimension Snap Distance When Changing View Scale

Update of Dimension Snap Distance When Changing View Scale

The option to either automatically, or with a command, update the spacing between dimension strings to always match the snap distance relative to the sheet would be a massive time saver.

Currently, when dimensioning a view, the dimension string will snap at the Snap Distance set in the dimension style, relative to the scale of the view. When the view scale is changed to better fit a sheet, the dimension text annotative size changes, but the dimension strings do not adjust to the new relative distance. We are manually adjusting all of the dimension strings in the view(s) to snap accordingly. That attached clip shows how this currently works.

While an automatic option would be preferred, an option similar to AutoCAD would work: Select the dimensions in the view and provide a command to update the snap distance in that view.
