Turn off all Revit Links in view / view template

Provide a single checkbox to turn off all Revit Links in a view/view template.  This would be consistent with the other categories (Model, Annotation, Analytical Model and Imported).  Links should be able to be globally turned off in a template, and you shouldn't have to keep editing the template to turn them off as links are added.

Uses:

• Views that by default don't need Revit links
• Schedules that by default don't need Revit links
• Models that have many links where you'd like to turn most off quickly

Perhaps I'm missing what you're asking for. You can do this now. When you create a template, you have the option to include all "V/G Overrides RVT Links" in the template. You can exclude links from the template or include them. Naturally you would have to update the view template if you add additional linked models, but thats just a couple of clicks to update the template.

That is exactly what I am asking for the ability in a specific view template to exclude all future links.

This is actually a really good idea!

Or a setting when you link the model, that for which template you want it to be excluded or for which you want it to be included.

i agree, this should be an option.
