Transfer Project Standards: Project Info - Ignore Shared Coordinates

Transfer Project Standards: Project Info - Ignore Shared Coordinates

I just encountered this in Revit 2020. We have established Shared Coordinates for a projects; however, when we then use Transfer Project Standards: Project Info to ensure that we are all using the same project name, etc. we encounter that it is moving our files and breaking our shared coordinates as well.

I'm not sure if this is a problem with our setup or not, but either way, I feel that we should be able to have some more granularity in what we are moving and to be able to select/deselect the particular elements to be transferred/overwritten - rather than just getting an all-or-nothing list.

TPS in general needs to have much finer control over which standards are transferred.

The current groupings are far too broad.

I very often need just a few of the sub-categories

Very late reply to the original post, but if you rename your Shared Site position to something unique instead of "Internal", it won't be replaced during Transfer Project Standards, and your project won't be shifted inadvertently.

Good point to keep in mind. Really, it's the underlying inability for ganular control that is annoying. Having to have a third party tool (Guardian, etc.) to allow for something like this seems like an opportunity in the Revit ecosystem.
