Toposolid Triangulation vs old smooth Toposurface

Toposolid Triangulation vs old smooth Toposurface

Our firm is located in Tahoe area where all of our projects are located on sloped topos. Unfortunately since the release of 2024 we have been struggling with the new Toposolid where it creates random bumps, and random triangulation zigzag topo lines. The void is also hard to work with sometimes. It some cases it cannot cut the void our of the toposolid and we have to manipulate the void shape, and elevation to be able to trigger the cut. Please bring back the old smooth toposurface we used to have.

Unfortunately; in revit 2025 it's worse... 😢

The Surface also looks fine in ACC after publishing from Civil 3D. So the issue is really a Revit matter.

Those problems didn't exist when using Toposurfaces.

It would be nice to give (back) the choice whether you want to link topography as a Toposolid, but also as a Toposurface.

The actual solution doesn't work anymore. This is a major issue!!!

Thanks for considering this.

Thank you for the additional feedback, @pieter_haeck . I'll have our teams take a look at your issue.
