Top column edges are visible when they are boyond the view range in ceiling plan in Revit
When we have coulmn heads on our structural columns the plan drawings do not come out as we need them. The whole column is shown - including the head beyound the view range. Suggestion that the structural columns category be changed to be cut according to the view range.
It will depend on how the family was created. You should use the Structural Column template as it has 2 levels in the template. Your main column should go from lower to upper level and the cap should be associated with the upper level and drop down the proper amount. It should show correctly then
