to be able to change units in beam system tags

to be able to change units in beam system tags

It would be great to be able change the units in the beam system tags. Right now it only shows the on center dimension in feet. I have a client who likes to show it in inches. He also complained that there was a space between the dash. For example, it showed as (2' - 0") instead of (2'-0"). The space is unnecessary. And the only way to make it say 24" is to change the project units, but that changes all the units to inches. So the levels would say 120" for 10', which is not ok. I tried to edit the family, but there is only one option for the label called spacing, which displays the number in feet. Another option, called spacing in inches, would be useful.

Why not change the units of that particular parameter?

And if the result still not what you want, use a Formula.

Can't change the units for that parameter. There's no option for that. I'll
look into the formula. I've never done that.

Can you show which parameter you would like to change?

The spacing of the beam. It's in feet and inches. Ex: 2'-0", and I need it
to say 24". It is dependent on the project units. But changing project
units is ineffective because levels need to be in feet and inches. It would
be best if it was independent from project units.
