Text Box Occasionally Doesn't Work

Sometimes we will click into a text box and although it shows the text being highlighted or a dialog line, the text does not propagate in the box while typing unless we hit delete. Sometimes we will click into a text box ad type multiple lines without looking at the screen, only to find that nothing is in the text box!

There was another Idea about this recently that got "accepted". There's a comment from Autodesk explaining what happened.
