Quiere decir:

Temporary view properties should allow changes in phase and template

Temporary view properties should allow changes in phase and template

Temporary View Properties is a really useful tool.

But when its enabled both the view template and the project phase become greyed out and cannot be changed.

Both of these are view properties and should be changable when Temp View Props is enabled to allow the user to temporarily change them.

Yes and no... There's already a "Temporarily Apply Template Properties..." (in the temp view pulldown). I like the way it currently behaves because you can quickly make changes to V/G. If they kept the Template button enabled instead, it would get confusing (might think changes to the template overrides were permanent).

"Yes" for Phase, but there's already an idea for that: Temporary View Properties - Allow phase change (yours, actually) :cara_con_una_leve_sonrisa:

I think the issue is that Temp View Properties inverts what is controlled by the view template and what isn't. I don't think it should behave this way. It should just unlock anything that is controlled by the view template, while also leaving anything NOT in control by the view template ALSO unlocked. This way you have full control over the Temp View Properties.

I see a lot of Ideas on the Idea Board that would probably be resolved if the temp view properties would just allow any/all changes to the views, but then revert them all back to the way it was before it was enabled. Seems actually intuitive and something that most folks just assume is the case (...intuitive).

yea, I think the simplest method of operation is simply when temp views is applied everything becomes locked.

When temp views is removed everything resets.

Seems really simple to me and the most intuitive to use, having some unlock and some not doesn't make a lot of sense and confuses simple minded people like me... I confess I've never stopped to read the items in the Temporary Properties menu!

LOL. Wouldn't it be a wonderful world if Revit WAS intuitive...

@Kevin.Bell you mean "...everything becomes UNlocked."

Upvote for being able to change anything - including items NOT in the VT - while in Temp.

I have often been frustrated by not being able to temporarily change something only to find out that it was not in the VT
