Subject: In-Depth Feedback on Revit 2024: Topo Solid and Points System Dear Autodesk Team,

I trust this message finds you well. I'd like to provide detailed feedback on the Revit 2024 version, focusing on two key aspects: the Topo Solid feature and the handling of points. Firstly, the introduction of the Topo Solid feature is commendable, and I appreciate the innovative step forward in modeling capabilities. However, I noticed that the edges of the Topo Solid lack the smoothness observed in the 2023 version's topography. I believe enhancing the smoothness of these edges would significantly improve the overall visual appeal and precision of models created with this feature. Secondly, I'd like to address the points associated with the Topo Solid. In my experience, the visibility of points when cutting sections in the plan view can be confusing. Comparatively, the point system in Revit 2023, particularly when working with point cloud data, was more intuitive and user-friendly. I recommend considering a similar approach to the point system for Topo Solid in Revit 2024 to provide users with a more familiar and comfortable experience. I understand the challenges involved in software development and appreciate your commitment to user feedback. These suggested refinements would contribute to a smoother transition for users and enhance the usability of the Topo Solid feature. Thank you for your attention to these details, and I look forward to witnessing continued advancements in future releases of Revit.

Best regards,

Please give back the topo functionality that Revit has in versions prior to 2024.  For anyone working on projects with intense topo requirements, 2024 is a nightmare.  I tried using it for one of my mountain home projects and had to go back to a previous version.  On another project we inherited, we are spending thousands of dollars to remodel the entire thing in a previous version so that we can work with the topo like we need to.  You cannot see the topo lines while editing the topo, there are hardly any points to work with after importing, and the triangulation causes the topo to look very jagged and ugly.
