Structural framing - Improve some important sections

in my opinion the improving of U sections (UPN, UPE, etc ) and Flat sections families could be a nice feature.

Thanks for the idea, Gabriele, would you mind adding a link to the standards for the missed U sections? Also, we delivered for Revit 2018 a few months ago updated content including flat section families. If there was something missed - please elaborate on what was missed.

Hello Udo,

currently when I open the "Flat" profile family on Revit 2018.2 18.2.0.51 20170927_1515(x64), I can insert only the 150x50 section and not other dimensions.

Specially in this use (AS extension) I need to set all sections as 150x50 and only after the association, I need to duplicate the families and remember and remember which sections I need to change.

I find the same situation with Round sections (only Ø25mm)

The missing sections are:

• U DIN1026
• UAP
• UPAF
• UPE
• UPN
• SQUARE SECTION
• T SECTION
• more FLAT 
• more ROUND
• "real" C section (those that are present now in Revit, have the shape similar than UPN)

I think that the software to be taken as reference are Advance Steel because this is the "Steel Datailing" software for Autodesk and we need to work for their BIM workflow.

It have all these sections.
