Steel connection - Splice joint clearance, lengthen the bolts

Hi,

 

When you have zero clearance on a splice joint the bolts works as normal.

But when you apply a clearance between the plates the bolts only apply to one plate, I need the option to lengthen the same bolts to the other plate.

 

The pictures are from R2021.
