SSBIM(Steel Structure BIM) for Revit: End Cuts

SSBIM(Steel Structure BIM) for Revit: End Cuts

More granularity models of steel component connection nodes require end cuts on the components. These cuts are necessary not only for geometric clearance at component intersections but also for weld preparation. Due to the diverse cross-sectional shapes of components and the varying connection types of nodes, automatic recognition by software is not feasible. Therefore, when modeling nodes, a step-by-step assembly approach can be considered, with end cutting being a crucial step. SSBIM provides common types of end cuts for H-shaped steel. For more details, please refer to the attached video.
