When placing a view showing a linked file on a sheet, Grids, Levels and Reference Planes in linked files do not support snapping This would be particularly helpful in aligning the Grids and Levels in linked views to Guide Grids placed on sheets in a "Master" file. Please enable snapping to these linked files' Datum elements from outside the view.
The Snaps menu in the Manage tab could have a toggle/check box at its bottom to the left of the "OK" button which says "Snap to Datum elements in linked files". This way the linked files' Datum objects would have the option to be included in snaps or not.
