Side-by-Side Viewing of Tabs in the Project Browser

Side-by-Side Viewing of Tabs in the Project Browser

I love the tabbed project browser view in Revit 2025, but I would love it even more if we could undock the tabs so that I can see Sheets and Views etc side-by-side, with their own filters. I like the filter a lot as well, however, the filter sticks from tab to tab, so I'm constantly changing the filter to show a set of views, then back to a set of sheets. Having these side-by-side with their own filter would be a huge time-saver on large projects.

I already have a dedicated monitor (portrait layout) to show the properties and project browser. I would rotate it and show properties, views, schedules and sheets side-by-side, with the remainder of the tabs in the next window.

@SSampoux The idea of making independent project browsers has already been put forward and is under consideration, so lets hope it makes the cut 🙂

That's great! Would you be able to send me the link? I searched for it prior to creating this idea, but hadn't found anything.
