I just tried to make a simple mass model look good by adding the project's grid to the view. I then continued to change from isometric view to perspective only to find that this move kills the display of the grid bubbles.
So I propose to fix this in any Revit version that allows to show grids or levels in 3d views. It does not yet get any more 3d than a perspective view.
