Show Family pre-cut in Plan View - Structural Framing

I did a little research and notice this setting has been around for a while. Not sure why people are noticing it now, but the more I deal with it, it seems this setting should be toggled OFF as a default (Templates and Libraries). I work for a structural engineering firm and this does not affect our workflow, however it does affect our consultants.

I agree 100%!  If it remains family based a method should also be added to allow it off globally, either in the current model or a link.

I work in architecture and it is constantly a problem, particularly where there are brace frames and the members are diagonal.  I can coordinate openings in 3d, but unless our structural consultants make the change in their families to uncheck the "show precut" setting, the plans will still look like the brace frame is in conflict!  It's very frustrating.  The "Show Precut" is a niche feature that I only see being relevant for intricate columns that change shape.

Autodesk's default structural families should also have it turned off.
