SELECTING IN REVIT

SELECTING IN REVIT

Can we have a 'Select all instances visible in window' option? This option would be very convenient when modelling 100000+ sqm buildings.

I use the Select All Instances in View quite often. A similar feature for only the current window would be extremely useful also.

I'm a mechanical guy, so here's an example. I might have three different air terminal families in a window when working on a unit layout. Let's say I want to define the air terminal airflow value for all of the elements in the window of one family. Filters could help, but may be too cumbersome for most situations. I don't want to change the value for the terminals on the entire floor plan either by using Select All Instances in View . My current option is to select them individually. A Select All Instances in Current Window feature could speed up this scenario and the structure is already in place in Revit. 2 cents added. Cheers!
