Grid Bubbles are nnotation family, you can edit it and modify it size. But you may want to mantain consistency in your drawings, so if you reduce it at 1:100 (an are readable) you should mantain at this reduced size on all scales.
How about getting rid of bubbles alltogether and put them inside the cropping area? Right now all you can do is enlongate the grid lines, so why not have negative bubbles and move them inside your drawing area. And give them their own base point property just like a dimension figure.
