Revit LT - Needs view filters, massing tools, full model in-place capability

Hey Revit Frands!

Why doesn't Revit LT have view filters, massing tools and full model in-place capability. These tools have nothing to do with the collaborative functions of the Full Revit version. Revit LT is supposedly for smaller architecture firms. These tools are important for that function and should be included in the LT version. I will find every workaround to control my model the way I want to, but is that what autodesk really wants.

Ill get on my knees and beg.

Peace and love,

Patrice

It seems inevitable that Revit LT will get some of these features eventually in a similar way that AutoCAD LT inherited some features from its bigger brother. I wouldn't hold your breath though.. 🙂

Oh gods I just realized that view filters are NOT a thing in RevitLT.  So I might have to upgrade my drafting assistant to full revit JUST so she can unhide things in the filters i've made for projects as needed.   I can live without her doing plumbing and electrical systems, but not having access to those view filters might be a $1800 dealbreaker.   *cries a little*

Yeah...what you are asking for is Revit.  It's called Revit LT for a reason.  Not everyone uses Revit exclusively for worksharing.
